A high school teacher in Florida has been accused of spraying four students with disinfectant for refusing to wear their masks properly.
Christina Reszetar, 51, of Largo High School, faces four charges of child abuse following her arrest on January 6.
Law enforcement stated that the Largo resident sprayed the disinfectant on the four children, aiming “into the path of their faces an bodies.”
The incident, which was reportedly caught on camera, and the students were enrolled in a Learning Disable Math class.
According to the Daily Mail, the teacher spent the night in Jail before appearing before a judge on Thursday.
The judge stated that her actions were somewhat of “a severely misguided attempt at discipline.”
Reszetar claims she cannot afford her own lawyer on a teacher’s salary.
She has been released from jail without bond.
