A state trooper dressed as a Stormtrooper didn’t miss her shot to bust a suspected drunk driver.

An off-duty official with the Nevada Highway Patrol who was wearing a Halloween costume based on the “Star Wars” character stopped a car from going onto the wrong side of a highway in Las Vegas early Saturday, authorities said.

The trooper, identified by the highway patrol as Britta Foesch, was coming home from a party when she made the stop. She then alerted other troopers, who were on duty at the time.

Authorities arrested the driver on suspicion of driving under the influence, among other offenses.

Video shared by outlets including NBC New York shows Foesch in her costume at the scene. She was not wearing a Stormtrooper helmet at the time of the stop.

The Nevada Highway Patrol praised Foesch for potentially saving lives, but cautioned that the general public should not attempt to handle similar situations themselves.

The organization issued a reminder that although Foesch was off-duty, she “is a trained professional having been a state trooper for seven years and a NHP dispatcher before that.”

Stormtroopers are a prominent part of the “Star Wars” movies who serve as soldiers for the Galactic Empire and, later, the First Order. The characters are known for their iconic white and black armored suits.
