Two dead after gunman fires shots and sets trailer on fire at Sonic Drive-In

Bellevue Police say a suspect parked a moving trailer full of fireworks at the Sonic Drive-In and lit a fuse to make it explode. While people inside working called 911 about the fiery scene, the suspect then began firing rounds into the restaurant.

In total, the suspect killed two people and injured another two.

The attack took place around 9:30 p.m. Saturday evening. Police were initially called for a bomb explosion, but those calls quickly changed to an active shooter.

According to CNN, the suspect in the Nebraska Sonic attack has been apprehended without incident.

Police have not identified the shooter or the victims. They have not given a motive either.
